The Friendship Foundation, Inc. was organized in 1983. The prime objective of the FFI is to promote and assure that individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness have every opportunity to accrue all of the benefits and options available within our society without the dual burden of stigma and discrimination.

Since its inception, the Foundation has expressed its commitment to individuals with mental illness through the provision of support and assistance to Restoration Society, Inc. Fund-raising and the acquisition of resources for the use of Restoration Society, Inc. have comprised the chief efforts of the Foundation to date.
